Assets define the objects. Topology defines their relationships. Security governs both.ASSET + TOPOLOGY → SECURITY GOVERNANCE

ONE SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE

Without clear assets and topology,
security lacks a reliable foundation.

Connect the objects you protect, their relationships and security governance.
Start with assets. Understand the network through its connections. Govern security as a whole.

ONE SYSTEM

Security rests on
assets and topology.

Assets tell us what to protect. Topology tells us what connects to what. Understanding both gives context to potential risk exposure, impact paths and management responsibilities.

Network assets

Define the objects security must protect.

Bring IT and OT devices, software and data into one asset perspective, with models, locations, interfaces and responsibilities. Define what to protect by knowing what exists, where it is and who is responsible.

  • One inventory, clear responsibilities
  • Product lookups with source verification
  • Field validation and change history

Network topology

Understand connections and dependencies.

Connect devices, physical interfaces, cables and logical relationships. Use topology views and neighbor evidence to verify the field and understand boundaries, paths and potential impact.

  • Interfaces, cables and end-to-end links
  • LAN, interconnection and host relationships
  • Read-only comparisons of evidence and records

Network security

Govern security through assets and relationships.

Connect asset responsibilities, network context, operational status and evidence. Build traceable management records so security governance is grounded in specific objects and relationships.

  • Roles and granular action permissions
  • Centralized logs and operational alerts
  • Audit trails and certificate-based sensor access

Intelligent Network Asset, Topology and Security Knowledge Base

Maintain independent knowledge of manufacturers, models, specifications and identification. See the conclusion, its sources, verification status and applicable conditions.

  • Precise product identitiesDistinguish models, hardware revisions and regional variants instead of treating similar names as the same product.
  • Explainable lookups and matchingInspect sources and individual matching signals. Platform users verify results before applying them.
  • Governed knowledge qualitySeparate candidates, reviews and published records, retaining field-level evidence and review history.

Why does Knowledge include topology?

Interface capabilities, network roles and reusable connection rules are public topology knowledge. Actual connections at a specific customer site are customer topology data. Knowledge and Platform manage these separately.

IT + OT / USE CASES

IT and OT.
One approach to governance.

For IT operations, OT operations and asset owners.
One governance framework, tailored to each operating environment.

IT

Information Technology

For office networks, labs and data centers. Connect servers, network equipment, software and business systems with locations, interfaces and owners to support inventory, troubleshooting and change reviews.

Inventory · Connections · Business context
OT

Operational Technology

With native OT DNA, X-Net-ATS understands the constraints of industrial control and production operations. Bring controllers, PLCs, HMIs, industrial network devices and field gateways into a unified view of assets, connections and responsibilities.

Control assets · Industrial links · Responsibilities

IT / OT · CONNECTED GOVERNANCE

Connect objects and relationships across networks.

Bring authorized field evidence together with knowledge, logs and audits for ongoing verification. Actual IT and OT connections form a shared management context within the customer environment.

OT-specific protocols, collection adapters and industry capabilities are being developed in stages. Field collection depends on operating conditions, device constraints and authorization. The governance scope does not imply support for every industrial protocol.

DEPLOYMENT

Start with a set of assets.
Build a foundation you can trust.

Organize assets, locations and connections first.
Then add sensors and knowledge services within a defined scope.

01

Set up Platform in your environment

Run Platform on your own servers, within your network boundary. Import existing records and align locations, responsibilities and connections.

02

Connect sensors by network zone

Define the discovery scope, collection permissions and target intervals. Connect Sensor, then review discovery candidates before accepting them.

03

Verify products with public knowledge

Query Knowledge by manufacturer and model. Review differences and sources, then confirm updates to your local asset records.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Get to know
X-Net-ATS.

Clear product boundaries.
Data you can trust.

Why govern assets, topology and security as one system?

Security requires clear protection targets and real connection context. Without an accurate inventory, you cannot define what to protect. Without topology, boundaries, dependencies and impact paths are hard to understand. X-Net-ATS connects assets, topology and security so governance rests on trusted field facts.

Is X-Net-ATS a platform or a complete system?

X-Net-ATS is the complete Intelligent Network Asset, Topology and Security Management System. Knowledge, Platform and Sensor are independent products for public knowledge, customer-side management and field sensing. They work together to meet the needs of each environment.

Does X-Net-ATS only manage IT assets?

IT and OT are both core governance domains for X-Net-ATS. It addresses devices, software and data in IT networks as well as industrial production, control systems and their connections in OT. Product knowledge, protocol collection and industry capabilities expand progressively with product versions.

Does customer asset data enter the public knowledge base?

Customer serial numbers, site IPs, asset locations, personnel information and actual topology do not enter the public knowledge base. Knowledge maintains product models, specifications, reusable connection knowledge and security knowledge. Platform manages customer field facts.

Does discovery automatically change the asset inventory?

No. Sensor produces observations and evidence. Platform creates candidates for review, and operators verify them before adding them to the inventory. External knowledge also requires a review of differences and sources before it is applied.

Are automated vulnerability detection and traffic analysis available?

The current release does not provide automated vulnerability detection, traffic analysis or automated compliance assessment. Its security foundation includes identity and permissions, certificate authentication, logs, operational alerts and audits. Advanced detection capabilities are being developed in stages.
